The Mission:

To increase safe and enjoyable tournament push hands play.

To make playing tournament push hands accessible to more people.

To increase the number of different times and locations of tournament push hands meetups.

Push Hands Now Rules:

1. Fixed step tournament push hands rules: to score a point make the other player move their foot without moving your own. Only touch below the neck and above the waist, no joint locks and no hitting.
2. Safety first: no one gets hurt. Begin gently and make sure that there is mutual agreement before playing more vigorously. It is recommended to loose a lot of points while warming up and when playing beginners.
3. No unsolicited teaching. Asking questions is ok, and requesting things is ok. Beginners welcome.
